Surgery

March 29, 2021

We apologize for the break in service.  John fell several weeks ago and hit his head.  Hard.  Fast forward to last week and a CT scan led to the discovery of a brain bleed.  Emergency surgery was successful, and John is recuperating nicely.  He’s currently in an ICU and getting what we  swear is the very best care from an amazing nurse.

That’s the short version, the longer version includes the surgeon telling John he may not make it through due to a low heart rate.  But he did make it and, as stated above, is recuperating well.

The surgeon’s instructions are that John take off a minimum of two weeks from work, but preferably four.  We realize this puts you in an awkward position.  Rest assured, John is coming back.  He loves his work.  However, we also realize you expect a certain level of  service.  If you choose to look elsewhere for your weather forecasting needs, we understand.  We truly do.  What we ask is that you stick with us for a few weeks, but we understand if you don’t.

We also ask for your prayers and positive thoughts.  Any you could send our way would be very much appreciated.

Thank you,

Trudy
