Heart

April 18, 2021

A funny thing happened on the way to healing from the craniomety.  Another emergency trip to Urgent Care showed a collapsed lung.  This was last Thursday.  On Friday, surgery was performed to close up the hole in the lung.  How that hole developed is something of a mystery.  Anyway, during surgery, the doctor discovered a growth the size of a potato encasing John’s heart.  The collapsed lung was a blessing in disguise!  The growth was removed and sent to pathology but the doctor is confident all will be well.

Shortening up a long story, it will be a few more days before John is back at it.  He’s still in the hospital and likely won’t’ be released before Tuesday, at the earliest.

Thank you for your continued patience and prayers.  I’ll update you as developments occur.
