Summary a rather robust low pressure system is located just off the coast of extreme northern California. Rain is spreading southward along the northern California coast. Precipitation will overspread the remainder of northern California today, arriving in central California tonight. Currently it appears rain will reach into the central valley tonight mainly after midnight and into the south valley during the predawn hours. Precipitation will continue on and off through Saturday night with lingering precipitation through Sunday. The low will sweep into northern Baja Sunday afternoon and Sunday night. upper level high pressure will fill in behind the low. Dry will prevail through most of Wednesday. Another low will follow a similar path Wednesday afternoon and Wednesday night for another chance of precipitation. yet a third system will impact northern and central California Friday night and Saturday of next week,
